Ryan & Caroline - radio's "Will & Grace"

We record in New York City.
All the Deets!
Ryan and Caroline are proud to be a part of Clear Channel's Pride Radio.  After hosting the company's first-ever nationally syndicated gay radio talk show "PRIDE Radio with Ryan & Caroline," the pair continue to contribute to the station.  Real life best friends, they're known as radio's "Will & Grace," and can be heard on nationwide on HD radio and online. They also frequently appear as Fashion Police in US Weekly Magazine.

How It All Came Together
Ryan and Caroline met during the summer of 2000 while working at VH1 in New York City and fast became best friends. Sharing a passion for film, they see more movies together than they do with anyone else.

In 2004 their friendship reached new heights as they became pop culturalized as "Ryaline" (their Brangelina nickname).  They created the popular movie review blog WeSeeMovies.com where people the world over seek their movie reviews for what's in theaters now. WeSeeMovies.com  has been ranked #2 in OK Magazine's "Must List" and crowned one of the "Best Blogs Ever" by VH1's Best Week Ever. The duo also syndicates a weekly movie weekend preview segment on AM and FM radio morning shows across America.

In 2006, this duo became radio's version of "Will & Grace," as co-hosts of the nationally syndicated radio talk show "PRIDE Radio with Ryan & Caroline."
More Than You Wanna Know

Ryan & Caroline thrive on pop culture and celebrity gossip.  Both have worked in television as producers of major pop culture programming for networks like MTV, VH1, Showtime, Nickelodeon and even The Jerry Springer Show (don't hold it against them).

Living in New York City, they take full advantage of the city's abundance.  They love doing weekend brunch as Pastis and Balthazar.  During the week, before and after movie screenings, they enjoy restaurants like Otto, 'Ino, Bar Pitti and Vento.

Ryan & Caroline also love Broadway shows and, as if you couldn't guess... shopping!

She’s Off the Hook

We were beyond excited that the Feds were gonna make M-K Olsen reveal all she knew about Heath Ledger’s death… until it was just announced that the investigation is being dropped.  Big-time bummer.  There’s always a chance it’ll be reopened; but until then we’ll just have to wonder why Heath’s housekeeper called Mary-Kate first and not 911, and more importantly, why M-K called her private security team instead of an ambulance.  Remember, kids - drugs are bad.

Don’t Party With Kim

Is it us, or does trouble seem to follow Lil’ Kim everywhere, even when she’s not around?  A 24-year-old woman was killed at a birthday party for Lil’ Kim over the weekend at a club in Times Square.  A club employee has been arrested in the bludgeoning death.  Lil’ Kim had already left the party by the time it all went down, but I think we can safely say that near her is nowhere we wanna be.

Sunday Rose Takes Sydney

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are flaunting their Aussie bundle of joy around Sydney, even calling into a local radio station to talk about the babe.  How very un-Nicole Kidman can you get?  Despite their best efforts to sneak into town unnoticed, the paps were waiting for them at the airport, of course.  Nice try, Nic.
So You Think You Can Dance - The Top Four
Thursday 08-07-2008 10:12am CT

We can’t even believe it, but it’s the final week of the best show on television, “So You Think You Can Dance.”  This is our least favorite week of every summer because we know the show won’t be on until next year.  Even though it hasn’t been our favorite season, we’re still obsessed and totally bummed that the show is ending.  So let’s talk dance!

Courtney and Twitch opened the show with a Tabitha and Napoleon hip-hop routine, which was fabulously choreographed as always.  Twitch and Courtney totally hit it and had great energy, but the complex technique just wasn’t quite there, and it wasn’t the most complicated or the best routine - by far.  Don’t get us wrong, they nailed it - but it didn’t move us like some routines have in the past.

Katee and Joshua were next and how thrilled were we to learn that choreographer Wade Robson is back?!  He set his dance to a John Mayer song, as he did last year, and Joshua and Katee killed it as usual.  Also as usual, the penultimate show of the year contains girl-girl and boy-boy routines.  Katee and Courtney’s Broadway number was cute, but Joshua and Twitch’s Russian routine was seriously insane.  Their sheer power is incredible.

Katee and Twitch did a fox trot, and though we normally don’t love Twitch in the ballroom dances, he redeemed himself with that incredible lift and his adorable James Bond impression.  When we heard Courtney and Joshua were doing a jive, we were thrilled since it’s one of our favorites.  Courtney’s outfit was flat out bizarre, but their energy was great, if not their technique.

Sooo… tomorrow’s the big night!  The winner will be decided and we don’t even have a clue who it’s gonna be.  We’d love to see a girl win.  Katee, anyone?
Gayified - Lifetime
Thursday 08-07-2008 7:38am CT

Lifetime, Television for Women.  Please.  We thought for a split second about gayifying Bravo, but c’mon.  Bravo’s really the original gay network and you know how much we hate to be obvious.  Don’t get us wrong, we love Logo for what it stands for and all that it is going to become in the future.  But at present, we think Lifetime needs to rewrite its tagline – stat!

By a show of hands, how many of you gays have watched or are watching The Nanny and/or Golden Girls on Lifetime?  It’s also the home to reruns of Will & Grace.  And for our lesbian sisters, there’s that Reba sitcom.  And seriously, how butch is that babe?  (That’s rhetorical.)

This is all adding up to one relatively and practically gay cable network.  So let’s ice this cake and eat it: The L.O.M. - Lifetime Original Movie.  We’ve all watched them and here we go… even liked them, from time to time (probably whilst going through a break-up).  With titles like Obsessed, Caught in the Act and A Girl Like Me, it’s a wonder why we’re not all glamming it up on the weekends in drag as Meredith Baxter Birney.  It’s ok Lifetime.  You can come out of the closet whenever you’re ready.  But in the meantime, you’ve been gayified.
